I am reaching to Jesus so hard now, and giving everything I have to him. I would touch the robe too, even if no one else liked me doing it.

However, I would like to believe all Christians would have this faith==enough to even be jailed for their beliefs. I just don't know if that is true or not.

    God Bless,

It's all about God's sufficiency in our lives has nothing to do with us really except for our outward expression of that faith. And as far as knowing it all, I think anyone who claimed that would in truth not really know enough to understand that they did not live within the grace of God. The pharisees knew scripture foreward and backward, but really had no clue I find that the more I study the more a whole other world opens up
Glory be to God, through Jesus Christ

It is in James as well, admonishing us to act on our faith. It is central to do so.

I've never looked at the reason why Jesus called here out, even though I had already come to the conclusion that He knew exactly what happened, why and who it was. Thanks for that. It's like "everything will work out to the good of those that love Him". She is not left with trying to explain and defend or even trying to get people to believe. He has done it all already.

Not accepting that a matter is closed! Pressing in, striving toward God, being willing to accept whatever people may say or do, but NEVER giving up!
Even if all I get is a crumb that falls from the Master's table, it's still filled with all the goodness of the whole loaf.

thought about this whole thing abit and came to some clarity for me anyhow. to say that he didn't know draws one into the doctrinal area of open theism, popular, but from my viewpoint incorrect. What it is is a rendering of the gift of salvation He called her she responded with faith that saves, a humble heart and true repentance. Don't think He could havemade a more clear example for us.

Some good thoughts about this woman and her plight! How many of us are like her? I like that persistent, persevering faith she had.

I think Ross has hit the nail on the head here... When Jesus asked "who touched Me?" it was not because He did not know what had happened nor was He surprised at what had happened. He asked the question as an opportunity for faith to step up and stand out. I wil l go on to say that this wman's real healing came when she came before Jesus and fell at His feet... Jesus told her that her faith had made her whole... she knew that she had been healed... but when she came forward and came to Jesus publically... her healing became permanent... and it was a testimony to the power of God and God got the glory!
