Hi Bob,
What I find interesting about Joshuah is he is not mentioned in the list of paople in Hebrews 11. The walls of Jericho came down by Faith. Joshuah's name is not mentioned, wonder why?

Good question Stuart... consider Daniel... Solomon... More than likely Joshua was in the era of Moses and because Moses so overshadowed Joshua.... is the reason that Moses is mentioned as opposed to Joshua.... Paul does say that there were so many more examples that he could have listed 11:32.... I love preaching about Joshua!

Joshua is an amazing example of how our faith can lead us to victory over the sin we are so familiar with in life. Even when all the others were falling back into the trap of sin, he took his faith, shared it with the people and called them back to the Lord. On our own strivingg we can do nothing but conform to the world but through faith and yes a little old fashioned obedience we can overcome. As for me and my house we will serve the Lord.
By the way I like Joshua also
