You know what is really amazing.... Daniel knew that he would be physically and financially affected by his decision to pray as he had done every day for some time. He knew that people were waiting to arrest him because of his time alone with God,

Daniel could have easily have shut his windows and just prayed to God without making it so public... but he knew that people saw him praying and he decided that they would continue to see him pray no matter what the consequences....

I wonder why we have such a hard time praying... who is watching us and what are they seeing?

Daniel was a faithful man a man like Joseph before him who was used mightily to further God's global plan. Would it not be wonderful if we knew where we fit into God's global plan?
    That would be Awesome

I like Daniel - a man who refused to change what he knew was right even though the law prohibited it. When push comes to shove, exactly how many of us would be able to stick to our guns?

    God Bless

When we pray, we are more intimate with God.
    Really love this scripture!

Praying is what he needed to do, and he did it. I wish I knew more about his prayers, but that is a personal thing, and there is a reason we don't always know these things.

    Thanks for your comments,

    Mel
