Great questions for a thought provoking discussion! And why wasn't the man involved also up for being stoned?;)

Daddy, I really think you should write curriculum some day, if church stuff ever really allows enough time. Your questions are just so much better than ones I've heard from other sources.

My answers, (just for fun and off the hip)

    1 C
    2 A
    2nd 2 C
    4 A
    5 A
    2nd 5 C
    3rd 5 NO
    6 Acceptance

That was fun! Now where is that disscussion?

    LOL

    Thanks, Jon

    In Christ,

Good job Jon! I am sure when Jesus said that the one who was without sin could throw the first stone.... he got their attention!

There was One there who did fit that description... but He told her to go and sin no more! There is my Hope in this life!

Love the scenario Jon, 7x70 comes to mind!!!! IF only it was that simple. Remember the Father of a dying child who had been bombed by the IRA after leaving Church, saying "I forgive them"
That took a lot of love.
    Christ is the only answer.
    Awesome is our Lord's love

Thanks everyone. I did mention that the man involved wasn't brought forward. It seems like he got some kind of deal. Maybe he was a friend? Or was he part of this set up from the start? It does say that she was 'Caught in the act" and that doesn't easily happen accidentally.

Sorry about the numbering. The only trouble that I have with word is undoing their "help". I was going to go back and fix it but I forgot. But hey, it was for the teens. You don't want to be too conventional.

Hmm - Mel, we have different ways of thinking and I am sure that this is what happened in your teaching Jon.

    1 D
2 D but perhaps A would be the right thing
    2nd 2 D
    4 D but would go with A
    5 A because they were D?????
    2nd 5 C (yay, we agree)
    3rd 5 NO (agree again)
6 Nothing - but prhaps had a repentant heart.

    Now that was fun!
