Is the key word "Strive"? We are not rghteous by our own deeds, but echos of this thought I have is in James. And if we strive, why is it that we do strive, and what gives us success? Certainly not our own meager efforts!
I have a hope in things yet unseen, but known. It is for that which I strive. That is my faith.

The key word I use is "focus" keep your eyes on "Jesus". He's on the other side of the door on the narrow path. Believing you will receive that which you still can't see. Is "walking by faith". Amen!

To me this says do what you know Jesus would do, and not what everyone else would do (or what you want to do just to feel better about yourself, no matter how subtle you think it may be.
God knows your heart and sometimes you need to put aside your human nature and press forward.
