Yes, I know. I skipped right past some of the most intriguing parts of Daniel. Books have been written about this section alone, and I am not able to fathom any deeper than those scholars who have plunged into this matter of the visions and their interpretations. I have read a few, and cannot understand all that I would like. However, this little passage gives me solace. If it is mine to know, I will know it.

    Amen,

Hi Mel, happy Lord's day, The Son of Man, must be lifted up. History has proved the first part of this prophecy, the Greeks came & went, the Romans came & went, but God's purpose is still unfolding, when on the last day, we shall see it all. Pax Romano made it possible for Jesus to arrive in a world where there was peace, the Romans made sure that any rebellion was soon put down. There never has been peace like it since. A man could walk from France to Jerusalem in safer conditions than we have today. Therefore the wise men could see Christ after his birth, the baby Jesus could travel to Egypt in peace & return.
It is truly wonderful what Daniel tells us & confirms to us in the matter of God's promises to his people.
Have a great day can you see the latest blog by Cameron?
