    Hi Mel,
    Jesus fortells Peter's denial --
Luke 22:31 --And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat.
    Luke 22:32 -------

Jesus predicts Peter's denial but also his
his repentance V32. art converted means have come back to your former firm stand.

Mel, what is your answer to this verse 32...

    God bless,

My answer is simple: Although Jesus says this for Peter, he desires this for us all.

So then, I turn back, relying upon the Gospel of Reconciliation and Forgiveness found in Christ. In his crucifiction and resurection, and as surely as Peter was afraid of what it might mean, so am I. But as God gives me strength (for I cannot do it on my own) I continually turn back again. And sometimes I suffer. And sometimes I rejoice in that suffering!

Thanks for asking and forcing me to affirm this,

    In Christ,

    Mel
