    A good study, dear brother, is into the words translated into "judge" in the bible. In these instances, the one we are not to do has one meaning while the one we are to do, has another.

    I will have to go back and do this again, but the underlying thing is that a Judge who sits on the Bench, judges. So does the Doctor who looks for a cure for your disease. One judges the sickness. The other one judges you.

    In James, if I were to say "go, be well fed and warm" and did nothing for the physical needs of my brother, I would be wrong. So would I be negligent in my duty to God and my Brother if I saw him about to do something harmful and say "that's ok, I don't want to judge you" but people find that to be a convenient excuse, and do just that.

    I might not quite have complete understanding here yet, but I think I have a good start along those lines...
