Amen, Bob! My blog post this morning had to do with this very matter - listening for and heeding God's voice, even when the thing you hear seems odd to you. I'm glad I obeyed what He said to me; God really blessed me as a result.
God's thoughts are not our thoughts, and His ways are above our ways, so it only makes sense that His children find out what He's thinking and wants us to do, if we're to follow His plan for our lives.
