Hi Jon,
Good hearing from you, and that you are fine. Been praying for you also. Seems like you have been very busy. Yes, you sure will miss your children, will be sad and lonesome for a while. I think it would be good for you to visit other churches for a change. When you go back to you home church thy will be more than happy to see you. One never knows how the Lord is leading, He works in mysterious ways. Yes, you will know when the Holy Spirit, says time to go. Our Lord closes doors and opens new one, we have to be ready, right. I know in a small community not many to choose from, need to be where you can fellowship and where God can use you to be a blessing and you will be blessed. ( Our Pastor use to say, if you don't get fed here, go where you can be) we pay the tithes in the storehouse where we are fed..... I like to feel free in a Church, whom the Son has set free is free indeed. We go filled with the spirit and our spirit connects with others what a time, I so enjoy praising our Lord, because he has done so much for all of us, and still doing, He is good all the time...At times I just can't praise Him enough.
Jon, that sounds great writing short stories, I think you would enjoy that. Yes, try some of the short fiction stories on us, we would like that. So your're starting with unorthodox Pastor, ok get started, I'm anxious to read about it. Oh, I enjoyed the lyric to some of the song, very good. --will be waiting-- You will have the computer now, so no excuse.....

The best part about being called by God, is being called by God. I wonder if we get too wrapped up in the where and who of being used. You do have a class right here. God has given you several gifts which we can most definately benefit from. The interaction is not the same, the response may be different, you may not see the outcome of lessons taught. But, you also don't have to see the faces when someone doesn't get it.
I love and still remember the story of Stan and often go over it in my mind. Please, if for no one else, write the stories for God, yourself, and us.
Even as I sit here and write to you, wanting so to encourage you to work just as hard now as you ever did, the words don't come to me as I wish they would but I pray that you understand what I'm saying.
Jon, you must continue to teach, write, encourage, and build. Remember too, you posted the words to a song, "Audience of One"? To let the gifts of God sit on the shelf will tend toward a loss of passion and excitement.
Until God makes a clear path, teach me. I'll try to pay attention and not look at you funny.
