BEING SALT
The salt won’t judge. But will arrest,
try soul and spirit, put to test.
Salt is a light the moon alike:
The eyes of God the object strike.
When being salt you must be fresh.
Or else you will die in the flesh.
We are like salt and light to God,
as saviours to the flesh and blood.
The human cannot drink the sea:
The water to a certainty
will lead which makes the body die.
Beware your power. Be an eye.
