Amen! The Christians are never to far gone, They may wonder out for a while, and Yes, bring them back in love.
Since James is addressing Christian readers, the errors he mentions may be any of those discussed throughout this epistle. Convert, does not here mean to save, but to restore, as in Luke 22:32...Death, is the physical death by which God sometimes punishes His disobedient people. (Acts 5:5-10; 1 Cor.11:30; 1 John 5:16).

Hi Mel, I understand the intent of your post, that we should never give up on witnessing to unsaved people who seems hopeless. If this was your point,(I dont want to put words in your mouth, dear brother) it is a wonderful reminder to just give the word and trust Jesus to do the rest, we are not responsible for anyone's salvation. I agree with Lois on the interpretation of this scripture, and believe that we should not give up trying to restore a brother or sister in the Lord.
