Hi Lois, I really enjoyed reading your post on Jonah. WOW!.. Image being swallowed by a big fish. I wouldn't want to have to learn the hard way like that.. Wonderful post!

Hi Lois, I agree with Marsha, I wouldn't want to learn the hard way either. Yet, my sister, as you note in your great post there are serious consequences when we disobey God, because obedience is required, and demanded of all of us His children. I whole heartedly agree, that the dangerous focus only on what we want is the ultimate evidence of selfishness that marks spiritual immaturity, short sightedness, and an underlying besmirching, and mistrust that God is always right and always good. My prayer is that all the saints will choose obedience at all costs, sufferings, discomfort and inconvenience. I agree the outcome of obedience is always a wonderful and surprissing blessing. Your posts always minister to me, dear sister, I always see my way clearer and better after having read them.

Hi Lois, yes some people have to learn the hard way and even then some others don't ever learn. Such a pity that is, God does so much for us all we need do is follow His lead. Beautiful post. God bless and take care.

Hi Lois , as always I enjoyed your indepth and insightful post. Yes, dear sister,the dangerous humanistic opinions of human goodness being good enough,recovery movement and self improvement/self effort in place of true Salvation from Jesus alone, are misleading many to destruction. I pray that every will take every opportunity to tell as many as possible that as you post, my sister, that believing on the name of Jesus is the true way of inner transformation that will give the only true security that is found in Hime alond. As for Mr. Colin-Acts 17:28, where we all agree.

Thanks for visiting and leaving your heartfelt comment. Always a blessing! Yes, some of the people in the churches today, think they can go to heaven on their goodness. But as we know, Jesus is the only way to the Father....and the Holy Spirit, convicts us, and lets us know we are lost and need to be saved, "born again" a new creature in Christ Jesus, then we can go to heaven..... So many people today are mislead. We all need to grasp every opportunity to be a witness to the lost.
