Hi Eric, a wonderful study, interesting and enjoyable. I noticed in Rev 7:4 ALL the tribes of Israel are sealed. There are indeed 12 twelve tribes sealed, but they do not include Dan and Ephraim here. Instead we find Manasses and Aser. I do not know what this means. I can only guess these were the All for witnessing, or replaced, because there can only be twelve tribes, and not fourteen. Maybe it doesn't matter, but it is something to ponder.

    Dear Eric,

Good evening. You left a comment on my blog as I requested but it was posted on the wrong blog so I deleted it.

You said that you do not have any problems in carrying on a discussion in the area of prophecy. Thanks for your willingness.

Perhaps the best way to do it is by means of personal emails. I have listed my personal email, could you please send me yours. Then we will deal with one question at a time so that we could make progress.

    Thanks Eric.

    Blessings.
    Joseph

    serola,

Thank you for the compliment. I suspect that Dan and Ephraim are left out due to their involvement with idolatry in the Old Testament. They are excluded from this privilege of witnessing to the world, but they will still be redeemed later. There are several very small tribes that seem to all fall under the tribe of Joseph, that could also explain what is going on in this passage.

    Peace and grace,
    Eric
