Hi liquid brain....did read a comment somewhere else!....a lovely poem indeed. Another thing I think is that we both hide a lot of hurt under a pile of humour. Please take care my very good friend. God bless.

Liquid brain, indeed! :-) You are very astute, me friend...I do believe I agree with you about humour but never admitted it before. I have forgiven those who have wounded me. The memories are no longer filled with anger. I can and do rejoice in the Lord. I know I am loved not only by our Saviour but by many other people who genuinely care about me! But I think the "lot of hurt" will only be totally erased when we meet our Lord face to face...and what a day that will be! I love you, Colin; you have become a very dear friend with a heart of gold...(and a head half-full of blarney. Hey, I didn't want you to get too big-headed!!!)

Dear Sharon I agree that all the hurt will only be erased when we meet the Lord. I have learned the lesson why the Lord forgets when He forgives for forgetting is true forgiveness. I am sure a lot of people care for you now Sharon....famuly and friends and people here and I do love you too you silly eeejit. Take care and God bless.

Hi Sharon, thanks for a beautiful poem. Jesus is so worthy of the acclaim and adoration I sense in your work,for He truly has liberated us from the power of satan and sin. So many have been wounded in this life, it is testimonies such as yours that yields forth this truth, that Jesus is well able to help us heal and forgive and forget past abuses. He can and does give us the ability to live with Him confidently in the present, with hope in His love for the future when we shall see Him face to face. Dear sister you are a wonderful saint and poet.

Hi serola, thanks for your words of encouragement. We all need them! Yes the Lord does give us the ability to live with Him confidently in the present with hope in His Love for the future. Praise Him! and serola, I don't mind being called a wonderful poet, but a "wonderful saint"? Hmmm, I do need more work, you know! and I admit I'm thankful that there ARE wonderful saints out there who are precious examples of true Godliness...
