Prayer is a powerful force that should be in constant operation in our lives. Even so, there are times we need one another in support. As of right now, I need God to move in a MIGHTY way. My wife and I took a $2500.00 a month turn-around. We took a non-supporting church that God led us to. My wife took a hit in her salary as she could not find a teaching job with at least the same pay rate as she had in our previous assignment. We had to let go of one of our vehicles through voluntarily repo. I have been Sub-teaching in order to maintain some kind of church office hours. It will take a while before the church become a supporting church. I have sent many resumes out for jobs only to find that I have too much education, or not enough experience or the schedule will not allow me to Pastor. I know that God is our provider. I depend on Him. I just need Him to move greatly so we can better focus on the church in ministry and in financial giving. Also please pray that God will help me with some personal issues. I feel that God is about to take the church and ourselves on a journey to health and recovery. I believe He is preparing us for revival. So be it according to His will. Although this prayer request didn't come into www.focus-on-prayer.com, I'll send it along to our intercessors. You may also want to check out Loren Cunningham's book,Daring to Live on the Edge--The Adventure of Faith and Finances. It was a real blessing and help to me and my wife.
