Sounds like you had a lovely day Sharon. Today is Boxing day with us and also a holiday but I dont think you have this day in America. God bless.

Yes we did have a lovely day...and like yours, it was a quiet day, peaceful. No, we've never had Boxing day here in America, at least not called such. Isn't that where you foreigners take gifts back to the stores?
We just do that and not call it any special day! :-(

Colin! You made me choke on a grape I was eating because you made me laugh! Okay I will go check out what Boxing day is! Don't box my right ear, I'm just getting over an awful infection and perferated ear drum! OUCH!

Okay, this is what it said about Boxing Day: "Boxing Day is a traditional celebration in various parts of the world, dating back to the Middle Ages, and consists of the practice of giving out gifts to employees, the poor, or to people in a lower social class." Since I am a peasant (not pheasant), I expected a gift from the Royal Moffett family but alas and alack, have received nothing! Apparently you don't follow tradition, eh? LOL!

Thanks for the wonderful posting on your precious Christmas Day.
We have Boxing Day in Canada the day after Christmas. I am surprised this isn't celebrated in USA.
Oh well, I guess we were originally a commonwealth country and that is why we are like the UK.
Anyway, Happy New Year and all the best in 2008.

Thank you for your comments and best wishes for 2008... I am looking forward to this year, believe it or not! 2007 was not a "good" year, health-wise, for me...but I'm sticking to my motto: "In everything give thanks for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning (me)" (I Thess. 5:18)...

Thanks for your comment. I really don't know when (or even if) I will be posting here anymore. At least not for a while until I get other priorities taken care of! Like Colin's website finished!!!!!!! and taking care of several other websites... so, until then you probably won't see that wig and big glasses around much! :-)
