We are certainly not there yet. Truth is Christianity suffers from a colder heart than ever before: The God to the woman, as prophesied by Daniel, is neglected: The notion of The Son of Man is not there. Everything is valued by numbers and weight, there is no meaning. (The woman will give birth to the meaning.) And so people today do not understand what adultery is. They do not understand how adultery leads to shamelessness, and they do not understand shamelessness to be evilness. Our hearts are cold: We think of adultery in terms of letters as sex outside marriage. The word "adultery" gives no meaning, does not wake up feelings of horror. Love has become cold.

Oooops: My English fails. I meant: Today we think of adultery as not being faithful to our spouse. Sex outside marriage is quite all right.
