Morning Jon, Agree with what you say, did not Paul say in the market place be all thing to all men? I firmly believe that the way in which We live our lives is the best way in letting others know what we are! We have standards ina world where anything goes.
People come to me trusting me, because over a period of time they see what I am, they know that I am a "CHURCH" person, some even know of my Ministry.
Keep up the good work, we must speak to people where they are.
Remember a woman who was dying of cancer who after some time of trying to break barriers, I was allowed to sit & talk to her. A certain person told her she NEEDED the LORD. I had to start all over again to get her trust. This dying woman needed love, not being threatened by eternal damnation. I am a great believer that LOVE is the key to all things.
I mean Agape love, God's all giving loving, not our human taking love!!
    Hope this helps
    Love in His Name Stuart

    Hi Jon,
I believe that our actions speak louder than our words.
Do you remember the song "The Sound Of Silence"?

    May God bless you always!

    Jon,

The set of posts I put up today are pinging off of what you said here. I think that there is indeed a need to listen more and talk less, letting our actions speak in our stead. I also think that such is very scriptural, not an 'odd thought', unless by that you mean that we, as peculiar people, should think such 'odd thoughts'.

    In Christ,

    Mel

When I tried this concept out in a small group a few reacted to the 'not speaking' part. Church's usual message is to call people to speak out, and that's good too, in love.
