What a precious hymn! If only I could get my focus wholly on my dear Lord, and off of myself. He's done such a great thing in bearing my sin. How unappreciative I have been!

Michael, thank you for posting.
What you say is so true for every one of us. We can all truly say that we really aren't appreciative as we should be at times in our Christian walk. I know that I fail my dear Saviour so very often and yet I'm still one of His and in the precious hollow of His hands.
What a wonderful Saviour!

This comment is about a previous post of yours that I just read, with the hymn, "Farther Along." That song carries me back to the time many years ago when I was living in a very rural part of Western Kentucky and attending a little church in a hollow called "Emmaus Baptist Church." These were a remnant of folk from a hundred or more years ago, living simple, godly lives and worshipping robustly. Somehow that song has stuck with me until the present, probably so that in the interim I could learn it's true meaning for myself. Thank-you again, for being sensitive to the Spirit and posting it!

Thank you so very much. I'm enjoying your comments. I've been feeling so under the weather for about a week now with some kind of a bug and it's encouraging me to read your posts.
