Marsha, we don't really give up, we just think it's not His will. Sometimes it's hard to know what God's will is for our lives, but we just pray and trust Him.

I know what you mean. To be honest, I haven't kept a record of anything specific that I had given up on as "God's Will" only to have it answered a year or two later, but I do have times where i say "perhaps it was not God's will" then I seem to forget about it. If I don't forget about it, I keep on praying over it and then might get it answered far in the future.
Have you got something spcific you would like to share? Would love to hear about it.

I like this one, Latifa! I think everyone can relate to this.
Me, I've been waiting for 18 years to meet the husband God has for me. I know He has a soulmate for me, but even so I've been to the brink of "I give up" more times than I can count. Still trusting and waiting, though... :-)
