Hi Eric After praising and worshipping the Lord today for all of His provision, His care, the children He has given me,and even life and breath-knowing that all that I have belongs to Him, I came upon your post. You are a wise man, Eric, if it's not about Jesus, it's really about nothing at all. When we love the One who first loved and called us out of darkness, how can we not but keep our hands open continually of all that we have, even ourselves
to Him who has given us everything?

Unfortunately, I know of the praise team type you talk of. Not currently, but their behavior fairly screamed "Look at ME!!!"
Sadly, the less obvious manifestations are just as damaging. You see it if you look. What then to do when you find it? Press the struggle forward, groaning and pushing until eternity bursts upon us. That does not mean you have to be that driven person, who is likely confrontational beyond need.
