Hey, dear bro Larry, the Lord is surely leading You the same way as me - the joy of the Lord is our strength! You brought out this verse: "and your joy no man taketh from you." ...and I suddenly saw it! I thought, wow, the Lord is saying that NO MAN can take our joy... so, it is us who lose it... and just like You said, by dwelling more on the negative things than on the positive things. A real good message... and the one we should constantly remember! We have to dwell on good things. We are so used to the negatives as they are everywhere. As soon as we turn on the news, we hear all the bad stuff... for good stuff unfortunately doesn't make the news... but hey, we have been given the Good News, the Gospel of Peace. We CAN dwell on good things. Though, I have to admit, it is work at times. Still, no excuse to not dwell on the good :-)

Bro Larry! We wrote basically about the same thing. I said that it's all a matter of attitude... seeing the good in the bad we encounter and thanking God for teaching us through our trials. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
