I will not say the time, even if I think I know it. This is for the very reason you mention. I may think I have some special dispensation of the Truth. But God will be yelling very loudly when the time is here, and you are correct, at the appointed time, we must already be ready.
One thing you say that kind of bothers me. I see it everywhere. What it is is this subtle attitude that "I" must save my brother, or the lost, or this world. Even when the disciples were sent out with the Great Commission, it was understood where the Power to Save lies. It is not me. It is the Truth that lives in me, and only by telling that Truth as clearly as I can is it made plain to those who need to hear it.
The Truth saves. Not me. Not you. We are but instruments, not the Carpenter. What we build is not built by our strength. No, we are only a visible manifestation so that others may see Jesus through us.
Remember that, and all we do will fall correctly into place.

We can't save anyone. It is an individual responsibilty. Our responsibility is to present and live the Gospel
