Amen! The scripture speaks for itself. So does your words ...

Who can tame the tongue? Any man or woman who can be faultless in everything they say need not worry about any other sin! That one is challenge enough, and I can attest to that!

"A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned." (Matthew, 12:35-37)

As you write, Marsha, the Scripture speaks for itself. But my specific reflection is that an evil man, spreading death by his tongue, goes to Hell by the overflow of his heart. But a good man, giving life by his tongue, qualifies abundantly, strengthens his position and aspire for very important roles by the overflow of his heart. The nice one should not be afraid of letting his love show. He should of course not be a fool. But he learns from acting, and he develops the Kingdom of God by it. Refer Matthew 25:14-30.
