The truth is this: I read of another person's plight that they shared enough for me to feel their pain. It brings me to tears, for this person has been an encouragement to me, as indeed many of you have been. It brought to me a thought of the church at Ephesus, and thought of them crying at the letters that Paul sent them from the chains that he bore for Christ's sake. Do we have that heart for our fellow christians? I must admit that usually, I have not. Yet we should share each other's burdens, and the greatest of these are the emotional ones. If I am of any encouragement, follow that, in love, when dealing with each other.
