I remember early in my newly saved life, God really worked with me, and I was often humiliated. But the trick that work so well for me was realisation the lesson and learning from my mistakes. In that way, I managed to turn the humiliation into growth and the humiliation dissapeared. In my case, I suppose I could say it was a hold satan had on me, but when I learnt from it, I broke the hold. When I felt humiliated, I sank away from everything and went into a state of depression - and that was when satan tried to tell me how unworthy I am. We must learn not to believe the lie, but to rather let the truth set us free.

I have struggled way too much with this one. Sometimes I look back at myself and see the things I did in my immaturity. I think that if someone had stepped in and started to rebuke me, I would not have learnt it the way God wanted me to. I don't talk about wilful sinning, I am talking about things such as pride etc. God had to humble me for the lesson to be learnt. If someone tried to do it, I think I would have missed the lesson by a mile and then would have to deal with anger and hatred as well. Even though the bible tells us to correct our brothers, I struggle with it - also scared that my pride might just creep in somewhere.
I obviously still have a LONG way to go......
