This story has very much done the round on email, and what an amazing story it is. I sometimes even read these types of emails and actually cry. I couldn't agree with you more on the last point you make and think it is a disgusting habit that has now formed with all christian based emails. When I forward emails with this on them, I often delete that paragragh before sending it. Perhaps all of us should try that. Maybe then people won't be so reluctant to send them out.
I am also amazed at how far behind most of America is with emails. All emails that people have posted on this site, I have seen and read a couple of times over. Most are over 3 years old. I very seldom even send emails like this out anymore as the chances are that I've read and sent it out on a few occasions already. I wonder if it is because we aren't yet so obsessed with removing God from society.
Anyway, story is awesome as is the message behind it.
God Bless

Wonderful story! This is the first time I've read it.
As for your point about the "chain email" shame message most of these stories now include, I firmly agree. Aside from the fact that it's disgraceful to shame someone into passing along an email, it's just not smart these days to risk infecting people's computers with a virus you might be unknowingly propagating.
I'm of the same mind as you, Mel -- if you need to share the story with someone, the Holy Spirit will let you know. Obviously, you heard; that's why you posted it. Thanks for sharing!
