When I see what Christians do to each other; Splits, tantrums, & turning away, I think that this must be the most ignored piece of advice in the scriptures.
I include myself in that & I am certainly sure that your reminder is timely. Later on in the passage we are extolled not to judge? Sometimes we can be the most judgemental people. Thank you Mel, for your timely reminder, our God does not judge us as we deserve, so why should we not show mercy??

Constantly examining the word and myself is the only thing that keeps me mindful of these things. Reading others posts causes a bit of reflection and introspection at times. I probably err too far on the side of thinking about it and less on the side of doing something about it. I need the advise as much as any of us do...
