It is kind of difficult to explain, something like; "God's word" or "Its my life" or "Its my most read book, or "The book which starts my every morning" or "It is my way of reading about & getting to my Father better"
These are some of the different ways that I look on my copy of God's Holy Scriptures.
Summed up in the words of the Psalmist.
"Your word is a lamp to my feet & a light to my path". Ps. 118:105

The bible is showing me how God used ordinary people with all their faults to live out what He created them to do. Some of them even sinned well after starting their journey with God, yet His grace was sufficient, and He still used them for what He created. The bible gives me HOPE.

    What's it done for you?

    God Bless

We owe a debt of gratitude to the great reformers of past generations. From Luther to William Tyndale(I attendend a college with the same name bit-pretty cool!!)In Hermenutics it was so amazing to learn that the Bible was once such a hard thing to have in your posession unless you were very rich-but you had to learn latin to read it. Kinda funny, my mother was born in England to Irish parents...she had to learn latin. Isnt that something how things come around?? Now I teach the Word in its entirety!! :) Nice to see your weblog Jon!!
