    Welcome Kenneth -

Speaking from my personal thoughts (no way reflecting anything else other than my own rattling noises in my head) I have come to ponder what theologians have been telling us for years. I wonder if everything that has been accepted as truth is actually indeed God inspired. I grew up believing that a day at creation could be months or even years as we know it. It was also only recently where I decided to believe whatever I thought was correct and question God on it, waiting for His response. Personally, I do not believe that a day was any more or any less than the 24hours we know it as. I stand corrected and if need be, I am sure God will eventually reveal it to me. As for the earth being void, I refain from comment as quite honestly I do not believe what I have heard, and have no thoughts on it myself.

So, other than just ramble away, I am actually of no use! lol

    God Bless

    Ken,

I would have to say that scripture does not speak expressly about the creation of the angels. It does not insert them into the creation account specifically. Perhaps in Genesis 1:1 it can be argued that all of heaven was created at that point in time. If so, then perhaps everything found in heaven came into being at the same time. We know from in Job 38:7 that angels were present when the earth was formed for they were singing. It could also be that the angels were created before anything else, we simply are not told directly. I do not believe that Satan caused the earth to be void and dark at the start of creation, indications are that he became prideful after the initial creation and then entered the Garden of Eden and possessed the serpant to work his wickedness.

I hope you get plenty of feedback!

    Peace and grace,
    Eric
