There are alot of reasons that some (many) feel why Adam ate the fruit. What made him do it?..Was he so shocked seeing his wife going to die that he didn't want to be alone? ..That is one of the reasons I've heard..Maybe someday we will find out???

Hi Marsha, indeed, many of us have similar questions about what in the world was adam thinking? I suspect that at least some answers lay in the scriptures. Adam failed in his job as protector of wife, and he failed to only owe his allegiance to God alone. I enjoyed your post dear sister. You are always a blessing to me.

Hi everyone, I agree that all of the answers that God wants us to know are in the scriptures. What I meant saints, was that some things are left to God alone. I do believe that all we need to know He has revealed in His word, but areas that He is silent in I am content to leave alone. The book of Hebrews does give a clear picture regarding adams fall.
