To say that I mind is a bit much. That I desire that you would, I think expresses it better. Of course I cannot speak for others, but I get that impression from anyone else, either...

12Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
    1 Corinthians 13:12 (NIV)

23Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror 24and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. 25But the man who looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it—he will be blessed in what he does.
    James 1:23-25 (NIV)

Not that this is what you are trying to say, if anything really. Just the image it raises for me...

    In Christ,

"He put each foot ahead of the last and kept going"

Perhaps the signposts aren't all that important any more, perhaps knowing that you have friends for support and prayer are.

Stay strong for the mist does clear and joy comes in the morning.

    God Bless

    Hi Jon
So good to see your heart prints again. I read you post, on how you feel. But we all know that life is not a bed of roses, we have our trial and trouble. We have our times down in the valley where we learn, and then we began to climb back to the Mountain top, where we are at peace…..

Climbing the mountain can be rugged at times, because we can call it
The rough side of the mountain, but we will make it with God holding to our hand. We can’t even walk without Him holding our hand, the Mt. are so high and the valleys are so wide.

You’ve been in the storm, and to you, it seems like forever, and your night of confusion has been oh so long, your ship has lost anchor, and the storm has got you drifting, but the night is almost over, so ride out your storm…..God is with you, tho you may not feel Him, but you are not alone. You’re hurting now, but your morning is coming, just keep pressing onward, as His promises are true. He said I’ll never leave you
Nor forsake you. So don’t give up the battle for your answer is coming…
It will pass and the sun will break through, the clouds will roll back just the sea……These are stepping stones, that you can look back on and see where God has brought you from and through……….

So Brother there is a miracle in the making, one for you, the Father is working, even now, your prayers have been heard and the answer is on the way, there’s a miracle coming your way.

    GOD SATISFIES THE THIRSTING SOUL..
PSALM 63:1-8 --- O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirty land, where no water is; v2...To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary. V3...Because thy loving-kindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee. V4...Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name. v5...My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips: v6...When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches. V7...Because thou hast been my help therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice. V8...My soul followed hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me. kjv

God bless you Brother you are in my prayers.
Stand tall, strong and keep your focus on Jesus. One day at a time....
    With God's Love,
    Lois

Hi Jon, the others have said it all. I can only say count it all joy, pain and suffering is common to the Christian life for all that will be godly. These things have a larger purpose in God's plan-never to destroy us- but to make us strong. Finally brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
    Welcome, back, my brother.
