Unfortunately the genealogy in (St.) Matthew does not concord with the genealogy in (St.) Luke. But if we take it the genealogy i (St.) Matthew is correct, and we put the genealogies found in the Chronicles (ref. Genesis) before that, so that we come all the way back to Adam, there is exactly 60 generations from Adam to Jesus. That is interesting. Because if every man gave life to his son by the age of 33, the 60th generation after Jesus was born in 1982 A.C. Now, Adam lived something like 4000 years before Christ. And we have only come to 2000 years after Christ. But in the beginning men were old when they gave life to their inheriting sons. Adam was 130. Noah was 500.

See Chronicles 1 (genealogy). I don't think we can make exact science out of the genealogies, though. There are a few kings referred to in the Kings which are not mentioned in the genealogy in (St.) Matthew. But the number 60 is interesting. And I believe we have come to the turn to the end times.
