Amen! Great post Bro.Bob, Yes ASK, SEEK and Knock. Isn't that wonderful, what an awesome God we serve....At times we may ask for things we don't get, because God knows it won't be good for us...He wants HIS children to have the best. God promises to answer all genuine prayer, everything we need for spiritual success has been promised to us.

Yes we should treat others, as we would like to be treated, with LOVE.

James 1:5 -- If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbradieth not; and it shall be given him.

    God bless!
    With God's Love.....

Morning Bob, Love the linking of the stone with the things which we do not need! Can we take this a step further & also say the things which will cause us to sink? Heavy weights come to mind! 'Take my yoke, it is light'
Great post, anything which causes us to think before we act is great
    Love in His Name Stuart

Thanks for the comments Lois and your faithfulness to drop a note... I am indeed blessed! Stuart... I really think the use of the stone here has more to do with rocks looking like a bread loaf... the devil told Jesus to turn hte useles stone into bread so that the hungry would have plenty to eat... BUT... your application certainly falls under acceptable preaching! LOL

The only slight problem you might have is eating the stones to weigh you down! Might be a tough one to swallow!
