Matthew 12:48-50...But he answered and said unto him that told him, "Who is my mother? and who are my brethren"? And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, "Behold my mother and my brethren"! For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother and sister, and mother".
Not implying that the church and the brethren should come before your immediate family, but wondering if the provision for your spiritual family is not just as important. Who will see to the welfare of God's house and His ministers, who will see that the bills for God's house are paid? Yes, God sees to the needs of His house and His ministers, but doesn't He use us to do that?
