Dear Carl,
I too came late upon the scene of new life in saving faith. In this, I have learned that a regenerated individual is the only person strong enough to live with two natures. The life we now have is both a new found burden and a new glorious joy - the wilderness experience.
We do not become less of what we were; so much as we become more of what we are in Christ. The self, the id and ego, with less and less attraction for and contamination from our fallen self and the world - may I call it the now semi-conscious, super-ego?
Your writing should be continued ... you convey more than you might be aware of.
Go well in Christ Jesus,
dave

Dear Dave
We have alot in common in coming to saving faith late: we can understand shared things. You put it very well what it's like. I'm continuing to post parts of this writing here; thanks so much for such encouragement.
God bless Carl
