BTW, I was still on the train when I saw this. I was baiting you a bit by asking that question. Certainly, I could have gotten off at the next stop, come back, picked up the trash and then gone on to work. There are some interesting philosophical questions there that you could run with if you wanted too...

Hi Mel, I believe that we are put through tests. And.. we don't realize it at the time. So..we miss the boat on our blessing!..I know it has happened to me many times.. I believe your test was to pick up the trash and put it in the bin. Cheerfully!..In my opinion.

TeddyYour distinction between the three types is nice. As we learn from The Story of The Creation there are creeps, there are sheep, and there are wild animals. They are ignorant differently.

Stupidity is evilness. It is the opposition to acting in The Spirit of Truth. The woman did not have The Son, the consequence, in mind when she just walked away. And she most certainly felt awful about it.

But she will not feel awful for all eternity. Her feeling of guilt will end at some point, but The Son, the consequence, will last forever. If we had the chance perhaps we could point out to her the fact always acting in the name or spirit of The Son makes us free. Confessing her sin and asking Christ for forgiveness would make her free. But if she had acted in The Spirit of Christ initially she would never had felt bad at all. Acting in The Spirit of Christ (of The Truth) makes us free.

“… Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever. If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. …” (John 8:34-36)

Yup. A little convoluted, and the words are maybe different than the ones I would choose, but I think I follow well enough to agree.

    Thanks in Christ,

PhotobucketThat piece of trash could have been a remark. Or a poem. I have just made a trash poem. In Norwegian. And I wonder what to do with it.

In reponse to that, let me say:

"One man's trash is another man's Treasure."

Be glad that God doe not see with our eyes. I am probably guilty of throwing away "treasures" of His...

    Tihi!

But to go back to your post: The example of yours is a bit complicated. It is a bit complicated since the woman's intention in fact was good. She planned to plant that piece of paper in the garbage can. But The good Lord interrupted her.

"... For every one shall be salted with fire, and every sacrifice shall be salted with salt. ..." (St. Mark, 9:49)

Her intention was good but she lacked preservation. She showed no real commitment to The Son, to the consequence. She was *fresh* but not *free*. And God expects us to be both. It is a question if we can be *free* without being *fresh* (the question of the Reformation). But we cannot be really *fresh* without being *free*. In other words: The Jude cannot be righteous by following The Law (becoming *fresh*) without also aiming at The Son (being *free*). The Christian might be righteous without following every jot and tittle in The Law. But The Jude can not be righteous without believing in The Son.

Ok. I really have no intention of evaluating her *freshness* (following the Law) as much, but I understand. To me, her frame of mind was unknown. I suspect it was good. But, I don't take that for granted. I was focusing, nonetheless, on her *freshness* (her Acts) and would like to ask for her based upon her *freedom* (her Heart) to see what was wrong with the Action and plainly and simply change it. Not for reward (in respct to her *freshness*) but rather in light of her *freedom* in Christ.

Long and short, we should all try to do the right things and help others to see what is right and what is wrong. Above that, we should do it for the right reasons, without making judgement on the person doing wtong as much. The act may be bad. That does not translate to us having the right to say that they are bad. We have *freedom*, but it is not that. In fact, as much as we do that, we truely diminsh how *free* we are.

I wonder if anyone else here even follows what we are saying here? LOL! I may not really understand what you said and my response even was, come to think of it! ROFL!!!

God laughs, of that I am certain. Just like I do with my children...

    God follows and laughs not.

We are *fresh* by heart and *free* by mind. Her heart was good. But her mind failed.

Well, Obviously, I have not really gotten ahold of the concept of Fresh and Free the way you mean to express it. But, I think I'll understand eventually...
