Many of my sweetest blessings in life have come while I was at church. I would have missed them had I not been attending.

Enjoyed your message Mel.....very good....Sounds like a man in our church back home in Ky. He was a light to everyone, was also called the corner stone in the church.(But we know Jesus is the rock, our corner stone) Was faitful in the work of our Lord, and a sweet blessing to everyone.....To hear him testify or pray, you would think he was a preacher when you heard him....But he has gone to be with Jesus and rejoicing now in Heaven.
When our Lord blesses someone, it flows from one to another....How Precious our Lord is, bless His Holy Name.....How our Lord has blessed the elders in the church as they follow in His footsteps....So good for the young christians as this helps them grow in the Lord.....They all have been a blessing to me, and I'm so thankful for those who walk in the spirit and do our Fathers will.

God bless you Mel, as you work in His vineyard.

Oh, that we ourselves could leave such a legacy. Thanks for sharing that story, it brings to mind some of our elders, now passed, and gives me reason to smile. Our lives having been touched in such a beautiful way, by such beautiful people of God.

    Hi Jon -

Glad to hear that the camp went ok. I think of my grandparents while reading this post. My gran just turned 88 this month. I guess you know you have lived a great life when you command a silent respect, when others want to do things for you because of who you are and not because they feel they have to.

Thanks for sharing and I too one day hope to leave such a legacy behind. An inspiration to us all.

    God Bless
