Eric you left this comment on my blog - "Once again you perpetuate the notion that we may choose which scriptures to believe and which ones we may totally ignore. This amillennial concept requires one to completely ignore Revelation stating that Christ shall come and reign on earth for one thousand years, loose Satan for a little while, and then throw Satan and his angels into the lake of fire. THEN shall come the Great White Throne Judgment of mankind and THEN shall the new heavens and new earth replace this current creation. Supporting such views places you, yourself, into the realm of being unscriptural. Why even go there?"

Could you quote the passage from the Bible that says that Christ will reign on the earth for a thousand years?

That Scripture does not say that Christ will reign on the earth for a thousand years. The departed saints will reign with Christ for a thousand years, This is a heavenly reign. Christ is reigning at the present time (1 Cor. 15: 22-26).

Joseph, I have given you this answer at least once before. At what point in time did Christ begin this one thousand year reign in heaven? When does it end? Revelation 20 comes after Christ has returned to earth. If we are now in the midst of the 1000 year heavenly reign of Christ, then Satan is chained up in the abyss and cannot affect us on earth. So why is it that nothing has changed on the evil side of things if Satan is bound up?

Your position can't be supported from within Scripture. I Corinthians 15:22-26 does not maintain a heavenly reign, your interpretation stretches believability to the breaking point.
