"Stand at the crossroads and look, ask for the ancient paths, ask, where the good way is, and you will find rest for your souls".
    Jer. 6:16.
I think you are right if you see from this quote that the plural 'paths', & the singular 'way'! are used.
The options should always conform with God's precepts, they will be closed as God requires as you find HIS PERFECT will. Hope this helps in your journey Jon, May your walk with our Father be sweet & loving.
    That would be awesome

Hey Jon, Really good stuff! I have for a long time , thought of God's will as a big fenced-in back yard. You can pretty much do what you want within the boundries. But as soon as you try to jump the fence, like a father with his children, He is there directing you back where you belong.
This is a good thing to know. thanks for the reminder.

29:11 For I know what I have planned for you,' says the Lord.19 'I have plans to prosper you, not to harm you. I have plans to give you20 a future filled with hope.21 29:12 When you call out to me and come to me in prayer,22 I will hear your prayers.23 29:13 When you seek me in prayer and worship, you will find me available to you. If you seek me with all your heart and soul,24 29:14 I will make myself available to you,'25 says the Lord.26
He knows the plan he has for us, maybe we just need to remain on the path long enough for it to be made clear. I think that in there heart everyone knows what that plan is, ultimatly however there might be more than one path leading to our destination. The path we take is not so important as the way.
    Be blessed

By the way that's Jeremiah 29:11-14

I totally agree with you on God's Will. Yes, we all want..but our wants are not always what God has planned for us. I never wanted to be in Kansas. I am a water/mountain/rolling hill type of person--lived in Massachusetts. Kansas is landlocked, flat as a pancake and their mountains are speed bumps! This isn't where I would have WANTED God to send me, but He did. And I followed. Next time might be nice if it were Hawaii but, hey..what can ya do? (Just kidding) Marvelous miracles have happened since He brought me here, so I know His Will is perfect.

    God Bless.
