Seems like you have taken a step and started wearing your shoes. In actual fact you actually did that a long time ago, you just starting to feel more comfortable with it. Destined to do much work in the Kingdom of God. Realising that your passions were put there for a reason - to be used. Putting on your cap and running with it.
God bless

Hi Mel
Your writings are good.
When we follow God's nudge, we never go wrong. He gives us what we lack and God delights in the body of Christ sharing and encouraging each other. Give us more of your thoughts from the Word! We're one big family after all!
In His Love,
Brenda

Guys,
WOW! What can I say? I find this humbling. Of course, none of us is worthy, except that God made us worthy through the blood of his son, our Lord Jesus! Still, I find myself uncomfortable with so much praise. I don't fool myself into believing that I am always right. So, I ask again: Challenge me!
In Truth,
Mel
P.S. You all have a special place in my heart, and I won't think less of you for not standing up to me when someone needs to do so.

Hi Mel,
Without reading any of the other comments I will comment on my own.
I, personally, look forward to your insight and knowledge.
You seem to be very intelligent and I like the way your mind works - constantly so it seems.
You have been teaching us/ me everytime you leave a comment or write on your blog from your heart.
Thank you for sharing with us/ me.
God bless you. ML

Now I have read the other's comments and concur.
And don't worry we will challenge you, and ask you, and question you, and bother you, etc. ect.

You mean that you haven't been teaching ever since we first "met"? I look forward to whatever the difference will be.
I love teaching. Because it provides a regular means for the Holy Spirit to work in us. I am always thrilled and amazed to have God show me stuff and use stupid, clumsy, sinful me to show it to someone else. It is grace illustrated two or three times a week. I find a way for one of our teens to teach something every week.

Are you kidding me? Didn't you and I have a debate over this very subject months ago? You arguing the point that you are not a teacher?
Huh....guess you know it now. I applaud you for walking where He has led you. Don't fear, be of good courage.

Mary Lou,
Thanks. Again I say it, thanks!
Jon & Teri,
Yes, yes. I am timid and fearful. Yet I go. Can I be thought to be relying on my own strength, knowledge or understanding? I should never get there! (but that risk exists, and needs to be acknowldged) The truth is, when you have children, you eventually come to realize that you "teach" in everything you do. It's scary! And they are so very perceptive! Maybe that is part of the reason we are to be like little children?
Hmm...
Got me thinking with just your compliments, and that has got me thinking further...
Hmmm....
In His Abiding Love,
Mel

HMMMMMMMM
Do I see Mel actually accepting a compliment?????
OK, where is Mel and what did you do with him?????
Do you know what I see? A coming of age. I recall hitting the big 30. Something big happened. Suddenly I was not a kid anymore. Suddenly I could stand amoungst board members, CEO's, MD's, directors etc and not feel like they were looking down at me, rather I felt like one of them. For the first time I truly felt like an adult, and I knew I could hold my own. Seeing you now, reminds me of just that.
1 cent worth - or not
