That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. I think this verse says a lot.
    Great Post. In Gods Love.

Hi Lois, enjoyed your post as always. Yes, we have unity in the body, when we speak the same things with one mind in God's Word. This gives strength through Jesus, and knocks out all false doctrines that tries to mislead the saints. I agree much with your prior study also , cear sister- we can trust and count on God to give the increase, rather than short lived human efforts. May you and yours be blessed always.

    love

Too many times, people have the worldly view of what unity in Christ means. Here Paul spells it out, and how different it is.

In the world, if you are not lock stepping and being in total agreement on how you see something, you are not united.

In Christ, you are united by him, not by anything of your own power. You may have stregths others do not. For that you cannot boast or "Lord it Over" your brothers and sisters. You most likely have weaknesses you are aware of that not all share. Others are not to deride you for them. And, in the eyes you see with, you cannot judge those who do what you cannot because of where you are.

Still, where the Word of God is clear, you must speak out against things done wrong, notfor retribution or punishement, but for the good of your brothers and sisters in Christ, and even for the Love and Good of your enemies.

Christ said something about "even the tax collectors..."

    Hmm...

BTW, Lois, my latest post in my Odd Stuff blog was not meant to teach in any way that you should study it. I think that it is of value for me to see these things as say you would, or seola or Bro Larry. I understand how I see it already pretty well, but I am certain my view is far less than perfect. By seeing how other view it, I can get a better view yet. Maybe not perfect, still, but better.

Keep stiving. And thank you, dear sister.

    In Christ,

    Mel

    Hi Mel,
Thanks for visiting and leaving you heartfelt input. Yes, I know a lot of people have the worldly view of what unity in Christ means. So right, we must speak out against things done wrong, that don't line up with God's word.I know this is for the good of our brothers and sisters in Christ, also for the love of our enemines.........

Will check out your Odd Stuff blog again...I think you have a great view of things. But at times, someone can see things a little different and it will make some difference how we can view it more clearly...

I always enjoy your post and comments. Very interesting and to the point. A great minister you are......As Jesus spoke in Matt.25:21 -- Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy Lord.....

God bless you brother and you family. Keep on, keeping on...
    With God's Love,
    Lois

    LOL!

We had one we called the "13th beatitude" as a kid in high school.

"Blessed are those who keep on Truckin'!"

Some would call that sacreligious. Maybe so, although I tend to think that "Sacreligious" may be what the Pharasees called Jesus, so I give it merit mostly as to their offense other than God's. I think that might be bad at times, and at other times, good, if that is what they have a need for (that offense) at that moment.

So, I ask God to cover that offense with Grace, and His Son's blood and let it be what it will be.

    In Christ,

    AMEN!

    Hi Mel,
Thanks for visiting and leaving your heartprints. Always a blessing when you stop by. I know as kids in high school, can come up with many things to say and do, as a big sign was made, stating Keep on truckin.......many years has passed since those school days....I suppose some would call it many different things.......

God bless dear brother, with a great evening in Him....

    With God's Love,
