    Comment List
Jesus said: "For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven." (Matthew 5:20)

I comment upon almost every blogpost I read. I consider it a sin not to (if there is not a good reason not to).

    Anders,

I don't always comment. And sometimes I come back and comment much later. I guess I have to think about it, and I might do too much of that.

But, I appreciate comments, so maybe I should at least leave a smiley if I have nothing to add at the time...

    Hmmmm...

    Blessings,

    Mel

I agree that is a reason not to comment. But most often I try to leave at least a little word. You wrote in your blogpost about speaking up when it is called for and you focused at speaking the truth - about correcting people. But this is only one aspect of speaking up where the other aspect is speaking of the heart. And we sin also by not leaving an encouraging remark when doing so is called for. The good Lord expects that of us. We might write something silly or stupid when we do so and be dishonoured in peoples eyes thereby. But we are called to go into "death" for each other. So I need a very good reason not to write a comment after reading a blogpost. And I try to live by that also in my social life: I try to comment, either by mind or by heart, if I "read" people. I, as you, love comments myself.

ChristiansUnite has become silent? There is not much activity here and that is sad. Even if most of the poems I wrote were silly I was a bit inspired the last time I was here (much thanks to "jetaime") and I hoped I would find fellowship here again. But the community of ChristiansUnite seems to be undiscovered.

Well. I wish you a nice weekend. The good Lord give you rest and new strength.

    Anders,

Quite wise. I know it has been quiet. I don't always get the time to even read everything I wish to. Sometimes, to take the time to comment seems like it diminshes my ablity to read more. But that is selfish. I need to re-examine this. I am pretty sure if all I have the time for is a smiley, I should at least consider that much as a minimum...

    Your Brother,

It is a bit sad, really, since ChristiansUnite is such a fine service. Other more popular services like MySpace and Multiply might be more complicated and have more tools. But the intimacy of ChristianUnite is superiour. It is warm and friendly by the advertisement, the look, and the possibility to get to know one another. I believe Ray has made a wonderful work here. Maybe in some time the service will be discovered.

    Have a nice weekend!
