I have to admit that I will ot be going to see the movie, I have read the book, that way I am not ignorant of the uproar it caused in some circles. It is a good work of fiction in the theme of good versus evil. Cowboys in white hats against baddies in black hats!!!
Psalm 2 comes to mind: "Why do the Nations conspire & the peoples plot in vain?
The Kings of earth take their stand & the rulers gather together against the Lord & against his annointed one". NIV
Even Paul quoted a pagan poet, Epimedes when urging Titus about dealing with usurpers in the Church. He therefore must have read books by pagans!!
We cannot debate from ignorance or silence, it does no justice to a just God.
But to each their own & I respect all your views on the subject.

No I will not see it.
I think it`s just another of satans devices to divide christians among themselves.Not the content of the movie,but the doubt left in the minds of some.New christians, BEWARE!

We'll rent it and watch/discuss it as a family. We'll also be getting the book "Breaking the DaVinci Code". We've already had people ask us about it and we have to say we haven't read the book and so can't offer them any opinions.
