I understand what you are getting at. Sometimes I hear "but I focus on what they will potentially become, not what they are doing or saying right now." That is all fine and good, but how does it protect the brethren today from evil influence? A Christian sister who bears cleavage onstage as part of a Praise Team does more damage than good. She distracts, she draws attention to herself rather than direct it towards Christ. The flock are mislead. And the pastor does nothing. Yup, and my wife and I said "Oh no, this can't keep happening." We both think the woman has potential to become a solid believer, but she needed some leadership men to step up and do what Christ says ought to be done! Enough said on that! I look forward to your continuation of this train of thought.
