"The swing to the east has come at a time when Christianity is weak at just those points where it would need to be strong, to withstand the east. Without this strength, the eastern religions will be to Christianity a new, dangerous gnosticism. But this time much of the fight will be lost. Before many see the nature of the danger." Hello Dan,

I have written a poem related to John 3:16-17. I hope you like it.

    CALLING

Calling is God, not in fight for the Son.
Answer the call as aurora the sun!
Many are they that will put up a fight.
Be an exemption. Deliver the light.

Be an exemption and answer to God.
Work in the world as in body the blood.
Die for the Son! The heart is not a gun.
Calling is God, not in fight for the Son.

I recall what General Douglas McArthur had said during his final
speach at West Point. "When I wake I think of the corp, My thought's
during the day are of the corp, and on my death bed will be of
the corp." Unless as Christian's our thought's when we wake are
of the Cross, our thought's through-out the day are of the Cross,
when we witness it's thought's of the Cross that guide us. We
have not given the Lord enough. Worldly things are fleeting,
The Gift of the Cross will last forever.
