FREEDOM
To miss the guilt is freedom gained.
The Son did die for us to live.
Our rulers must in this be trained:
To be to life not contraceptive.

 | My point was that we owe our freedom to our Christian fathers. A sinner will try to take control of the life following his sin. Under a ruler who is a sinner there is no freedom. The Christian leader, differently, will love the life of his work. Under a Christian ruler there is freedom. But my poem was not perfect. There are to many stresses in the last line. This one is better:
THE CONDITION FOR FREEDOM
To miss the guilt is freedom gained.
The Son did die for us to live.
Our rulers must in this be trained:
To fear the damned executive.

LIBERTY

Our rulers must eschew to wilt!
To fear the damned executive.
