There are three kinds of men. Som want to be necessary, some want to be useful and some want to be beautiful. See Matthew 19:12. There is faith, there is hope, and there is charity. Three kinds. The first two will fix their eyes on what they can see. The necessary and the useful have control, so to speak. The beautiful, on the other hand, will look to the things which are unseen. He takes the chance being vulnerable.
This division in three is formulated already in Genesis. The plants of the ground are of three kinds, being corn, herb and fruit trees. The animals on the ground are of three kinds, being creep, live-stock and wild animals. And the lights of the ceiling are of three kinds, being stars, moon and sun.
