Teri, I have not yet risen to the level that I might be prideful of my humility. I am just simply still to stiffnecked and prideful in general for that! I often wonder if that might have been the Thorn that Paul prayed about three times. I do not say that as an understanding, only as a point of curiousity

Perhaps it is time for me to turn in my resignation to my S.S. superintendant. Perhaps I would diminish my risks if I were to quit teaching...not to metion the whole preaching thing.
Is it possible that W-A-Y-Y-Y too much was made of this whole thing? Again, I felt LED to just say a kind word in your direction. Are we not to exhort one another?
I certainly have not seen pride in your words or exortations to others, but what continues to show up is a belittling of yourself. Why do you continue to put yourself so low? Why do you speak from under a yoke? If one is so insistent that he is nothing, even though he is a child of God, how does that make God feel?
God calls us His children, says we are priests, a treasure to Him.
Mel, take it or leave it...you are a child of the living God and that makes you very, very special. You are an awesome creation at the hands of an Awesome God! He chose you before the foudation of the world. Who are you that you should make light of that by running yourself down. Lift up your head, walk upright with confidence in the God that made you and redeemed you with his own blood. If He saw that much worth in you, should you not honor His sacrifice with confidence in Him?
